The full constitution was accepted by the membership at the AGM at Stafford in December 2001. It is published in the Year Book, due out in September each year, along with a list of officials and committee members.

The first newsletter was published in December 2000 at the Association's inception and was available to prospective members. It contained articles about the founder secretary, historical research by Professor Dr Rudolph, cartoon images of Runners from the 1920s and show results from three of the major Autumn shows in 2000.

Publications are at the heart of a thriving breed association. We currently provide two News Letters and a Year Book for each year's membership. Our aim is to keep members up to date with what is happening, well informed on health-care and management of ducks, and aware of the background to this unique breed.

Members can advertise their birds free of charge in a small advert in the Year Book and on the website.  (Breeders' Directory). Display adverts for products associated with Indian Runners can also be placed, for a small cost,  in the newsletters and on the website.

The Subscription for the UK is £7.00 per head per annum.  (application form for 2007)

Cheques for membership should be posted to Christine Ashton, Red House, Hope, Welshpool, Powys and made payable to the Indian Runner Duck Association. A receipt will be sent together with your first copy of the newsletter to reduce postal bills. An e-mail receipt will be sent if you include your e-mail address.

Advantages of membership include:
newsletters and yearbook,
access to information and advice by e-mail,
personal contact between members by e-mail and at events in the UK,
eligibility for rosettes in the UK.
